Question about VAC Bans CSGO

I'm sure this question has been answered before but I couldn't find anything on the forums, probably not searching hard enough.

Anyway I'm wondering say I'm hacking on my alt account, and it gets banned, would my main CSGO account which i've never hacked on get banned aswell? Family sharing is already disabled and the emails are drastically different, etc would my main be at risk as well? I've seen things about a USN journal that needs to be cleared constantly but i'm still not sure.
