GTA V detection

Hello, quick question. Has the GTA V cheat ever been detected before? What's the chances of it actually happening? I won't be obvious with it to get player-reported. (not even going to use anything from the "Misc" category.)
Also, Rockstar announced an upcoming update, later this week. Would it be a good idea to use it anyway after the update? Worried they might update their AC which would trigger a ban.
